• Deliver engaging and comprehensive Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Teach your science specialism with confidence and depth, adapting lessons to suit the diverse learning needs of students.
• Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity and a passion for scientific exploration.
• Prepare students for GCSE examinations, focusing on building their knowledge and exam technique.
• Monitor and assess student progress, offering feedback and support to ensure their academic growth.
• Collaborate with colleagues in the Science department to develop engaging curriculum plans and share best practices.
• Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities, science clubs, or other initiatives.

Ideal Candidate:

• Hold QTS, PGCE, or an equivalent teaching qualification in Science (unqualified teachers with relevant experience may be considered).
• Previous experience teaching Science in a UK secondary school, preferably with a track record of raising attainment.
• Strong subject knowledge across the Science curriculum, particularly in your specialism.
• Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage students with diverse needs.
• A collaborative and proactive approach, working well within a team to enhance student learning outcomes.
• A passion for Science and the ability to inspire students to develop a love for the subject.
