Whether you are an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), this role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your teaching practice in a welcoming and progressive setting.The ideal candidate will:

• Be a qualified teacher with QTS or an ECT.
• Have a strong passion for Science and the ability to inspire students of all abilities.
• Be enthusiastic and approachable, creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Demonstrate the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Be committed to fostering curiosity and a love for learning among students.
• Have excellent organisational and communication skills to effectively plan and deliver lessons.

As a Teacher of Science, your responsibilities will include: * Delivering high-quality lessons that inspire and challenge students, fostering a love for Science.

• Teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4, ensuring lessons meet the requirements of the national curriculum.
• Differentiating lessons to accommodate the needs of all students, including those with SEND and high achievers.
• Encouraging students to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills through engaging practical and theoretical lessons.
• Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback to support improvement.
• Preparing students for GCSE Science examinations, equipping them with the skills and knowledge required for success.
• Collaborating with the Science department to plan and enhance the curriculum.
• Supporting students’ wider development through extracurricular activities and enrichment programs.
• Maintaining high expectations for behaviour and fostering a positive and respectful classroom culture.
• Communicating effectively with parents and carers to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns.
