- Teach engaging and dynamic lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, covering all aspects of the science curriculum (Biology, Chemistry, Physics).
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to a range of learning needs and abilities.
- Foster a positive, creative, and inclusive learning environment that encourages students to excel.
- Use assessment and feedback to support student progress and achievement.
- Collaborate with colleagues in the science department to share best practices and enhance the curriculum.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualifications: QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is advantageous, but applications from experienced UQTs (Unqualified Teachers) with relevant experience are welcome.
- Experience: Experience in teaching science at secondary level is desirable, but a passion for the subject and a commitment to student success are essential.
- Skills: Excellent communication, classroom management, and organisational skills.
- Attitude: A genuine enthusiasm for science and a desire to inspire and support students in their academic journey.
- DBS: A valid Enhanced DBS check (or the willingness to obtain one).
