- Develop and deliver engaging science lesson plans that align with the curriculum
- Use a variety of teaching strategies to actively engage students in learning
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing appropriate feedback and support
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement cross-curricular projects
- Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in science education and incorporate new methods into teaching practice

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., science, education)
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Proven experience teaching science at the primary or secondary level
- Excellent knowledge of the national curriculum for science
- Strong classroom management skills
- Passion for science education and a commitment to student success
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to a positive school culture
