A Science Technician is needed in an All-Boys Secondary School & Sixth Form in South West London.This Science Technician post will be full time.If appointed as a Science Technician, you will be required to safely manage, prepare and store practical materials.Additional responsibilities for this Science Technician role will include generally supporting the Science department by setting up practical lessons, occasionally covering lessons in the absence of the class teacher and attending team meetings to discuss strategies to improve the learning of pupils.The rates of pay this Science Technician position will range from £90 to £120 a day, depending on the experiences and qualifications of each candidate.The SchoolOne of the UK’s leading schools.Recognised as “Best of the Best” in The Week Schools Guide 2021.Mentioned as one of the top 5 national schools for Sports.Tatler Schools Guide 2021 – “Academic results are phenomenal!”.The school has been voted as a Top London Independent School in The Sunday Times ‘Parent Power’ listings.First opening in September 1893, the school has since, maintained and excelled in all areas of pupil attainment, along with wellbeing.RequirementsYou are welcome to apply if you are a Science Graduate who has worked in a lab environment before or are an experienced Science Technician.Applications are also encouraged if you are a British trained Science Technician or overseas trained Science Technician.All applicants must have the following as a must in order to be considered for this position as a Science Technician:

• Right to work in the UK
• Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
• Lab based experience, preferably in a UK Secondary School
• Accredited Science Degree from a UK university or overseas equivalent
