Scientific Editor, The Journal of Pathology and the Journal of Pathology: Clinical Research
The Journal of Pathology is the leading journal in its field and The Journal of Pathology: Clinical Research is its Open Access companion journal. The Pathological Society is seeking a Scientific Editor to join an expanding Editorial team that manages submissions to both Journals. The role includes management of the peer review process, preparation of manuscripts for publication and interaction with the Journals’ publisher, Wiley. Candidates should have experience in post-Doctoral research in biomedical science. The Journal of Pathology: Clinical Research is its Open Access companion journal, published since 2015, with an Impact Factor of 3.4 (2024). The post of Scientific Editor has been created in response to the increasingly complex nature, and volume, of the material submitted to the Journals. This provides an excellent opportunity for a research scientist with post-Doctoral experience to bring research skills to a fresh challenge in publishing.
