BeeLife European Beekeeping Coordination is an association that protects bees and pollinators at the European level. More information on the website.

DESCRIPTION OF THE TASKS AND OBJECTIVES OF THE POST

The recruitee will assist the team in developing the EU Pollinator Hub (https://app.pollinatorhub.eu), generating data visualisation options, and processing data, encoding APIs for data interoperability and exchange. 

The software is developed based on Laravel framework (https://laravel.com/), supported by following frameworks and APIs: Livewire (https://livewire.laravel.com/), Filament (https://filamentphp.com), Alpine.js (https://alpinejs.dev), Leaflet (https://leafletjs.com/), Chart.js (https://www.chartjs.org/), Tailwind (https://tailwindcss.com).

The software is managed with GitLab repository and the source code is open and available at EUPH Issue Management (https://gitlab.com/bee-life/pollinator-hub)

THE WORKING TASKS ALSO INCLUDE

  • Participation in the internal activities of the association and the Pollinator Hub team.
  • Work with a dynamic and friendly team of European (young) professionals.

COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS

  • High level of English, written and spoken (C1 or higher).
  • Knowledge of biology, agronomy or agroecology is an asset.
  • Willingness to take responsibility.
  • Excellent skills for teamwork.
  • Precise, organised, planner and independent person.
