Your Role
You will be responsible for working with documentation on based which shipment needs to be created in internal systems and for which needs whole process of export in Sea Logistics is followed and done.
Your Responsibilities
Shipment creation in internal systems with clients’ instructions (creation part)
Container booking on required vessel (booking part)
Booking and organizing container transport prior vessel departure, door-terminal (pre-carriage part)
Sending shipping instruction to carrier
Scanning documents for clients
Confirming status of vessel departure, working on import security filing – ISF, sending notice of shipment documents, creating documents (packing list, certificate of origin, insurance statement) after specific clients’ requirements
Entering data in invoice & cost entry
Checking and amending documentation after vessel departure, if needed
Everyday informing clients about potential and actual issues, everyday follow up of shipments and amendments
Work on different types of containers which requires different documentation handling (standard, open top, reefer…)
Cross team collaboration with BU (Confirm Departure team, sending requests to KN OPS team…)
Your Skills and Experiences
Minimum high school diploma
Preferable previous experience in logistics, 1+ year
Excellent knowledge of the English language
PC literate (Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet)
Ability to follow defined processes and procedures
Customer service orientation
Comfortable with short communication line with the differents stakeholders and customer
Deadline oriented and able to work under pressure
Organized with good time managment
Good administrative skill
