- Assist in planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons to students of varying abilities.
- Support students’ understanding of the curriculum and help them develop their academic skills.
- Monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support as needed.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for learning.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to share best practices and contribute to the overall development of the school curriculum.
- Participate in school meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements
- Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience as a Teaching Assistant.
- Strong knowledge of the secondary school curriculum and a passion for education.
- Proven experience working with secondary school students.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to support and motivate students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to engage in training and development opportunities.
