Are you an aspiring teacher looking for experience within a mainstream secondary school?Teaching Personnel are currently working in partnership with a secondary school located within Stoke-on-Trent, looking for a full-time Teaching Assistant to support students across the school. The school is in a great location with excellent transport links between Crewe, Sandbach and Congleton.The successful candidate must be able to confidently interact with students and maintain professional relationships with other members of staff.About the role:

• Full-time opportunity
• Working 1-1 or within small groups with students who require additional academic support
• Opportunity to support across a range of subjects and year groups
• Supporting the class teacher and ensuring the schools behaviour policies are followed
• Opportunity to earn £85-£100 per day (dependent on experience)

Requirements:

• Experience working with young people within a school setting is necessary
• Safeguarding training (this must be done through Teaching Personnel)
• At least 2 references covering the last 24 months of employment/study
• Immediate start date upon registration with Teaching Personnel

To be considered for this role, candidates must have a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one upon registration with Teaching Personnel.
