The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.Position OverviewThe incumbent is responsible for providing clerical support to the Manager(s) and programs including processing job postings and related paperwork, maintaining position control, maintaining information and employee profiles in the SAP staff scheduling system, updating the day to day schedule changes in SAP and running staffing reports as requested. Coordinates appointment calendar for the Manager(s) and performs other clerical duties as assigned. The Secretary 3 will be tasked with supporting administrative activities for program initiatives.Experience

  • Minimum two years previous related experience, preferably in a health care setting.

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)

  • Complete Grade 12 education, Manitoba standards, required.
  • Successful completion of a recognized secretarial training program required.
  • A combination of education and experience may be considered.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Typing 50 wpm.
  • Medical terminology knowledge preferred.
  • Knowledge of personal computers and proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Knowledge and experience using SAP.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and decision-making skills required.
  • Possess basic knowledge of mental health and addiction.
  • Must have excellent English communication skills, both oral and written.

Physical Requirements

  • May be required to work safely in a typical computerized office environment with frequent meetings.
  • Must be able to function in a high volume, high traffic environment.
