Job Title: SecretaryLocation: Halifax, NSDepartment: Office ManagerJob Type: Full-TimeJob Summary:We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Secretary to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support, manage schedules, handle correspondence, and perform various clerical tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our office.Key Responsibilities:Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the management team and other staff members.
Communication: Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, letters, and phone calls.
Documentation: Prepare, organize, and maintain documents, files, and records.
Office Management: Order and manage office supplies, maintain office equipment, and ensure a clean and organized work environment.
Customer Service: Greet and assist visitors, clients, and callers in a professional and courteous manner.
Meeting Coordination: Prepare agendas, take minutes, and distribute meeting materials.
Travel Arrangements: Arrange travel and accommodations for staff as needed.
Other Duties: Perform additional duties as assigned to support the team and office operations.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in office administration or related field is a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Professional demeanor and appearance
