Job Category: Security OfficersDegree Level: High School GraduateJob Description:We are seeking highly motivated security professionals to provide exceptional security services across a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, financial services, telecommunications, corporate, construction, and others.Candidates must possess a reliable vehicle and demonstrate full availability for casual, on-call shifts across various times. Flexibility and the ability to travel between multiple sites within the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) are essential.If you are committed to providing dependable, proactive security services, we invite you to apply and join our team.The posting will remain open until filled.Position Overview:Wages: $18.00/hr+ (depending on site)Shift timings: Varies (Days, Afternoons, Nights and Weekends. Preference for those who can work different types of shifts)RESPONSIBILITIES:

• De-escalate tense situations by verbal communication using a variety of techniques designed to reduce risk.
• Escort medical staff including paramedics, police and firefighters when required.
• Respond to medical emergencies and be prepared to perform CPR and AED if needed.
• Unlock and lock doors for access by authorized persons. Denying entry to anyone without authorization.
• Assist with coverages at various sites to enhance security at strategic locations.
• Follow security breach procedures by notifying supervisors or other appropriate personnel when security breaches occur.
• Monitor CCTV footage and cameras for irregularities and perform dispatch duties for the site including emergency response.
• Perform foot patrols inside and outside the facility.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid Ontario Security License
• Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate
• G or G2 class drivers’ licence is required. Vehicle is required to travel to the sites.
• Thorough understanding of security protocols and procedures including emergency response.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent customer service experience.
• Effective communication skills.
