Maintaining the daily operation of the site schedule and effectively leading, supervising and mentoring a team. This is a wonderful opportunity for a supervisor who is looking for the next step in their career.The day-to-day

  • Providing first aid, CPR and AED when required
  • Ensuring all security/emergency systems are functioning (i.e. alarms, camera, door access), providing daily reports of deficiencies and scheduling maintenance/repairs as needed.
  • Managing Access requests and ensuring the Standard operating procedures are being adhered to.
  • Monitoring CCTV for all sites and ensuring all cameras are accounted for daily.
  • Ensuring guards are properly trained, qualified, uniformed.
  • Be an active participant in Occupational Health & Safety meetings.
  • Oversee operational functions to enforce site policies, enhance team performance, and achieve departmental goals.
  • Schedule and manage staff to ensure smooth operations.
  • Coordinate training programs and onboarding processes for new employees.
  • Monitor employee performance to identify areas for improvement and development.
  • Foster employee engagement to create a positive and productive work environment

Here’s what you need:

  • Valid Alberta Security Worker License
  • 2 years of security experience in a Site Supervisor or in a site lead capacity.
  • 3+ years of experience in the security industry
  • Occupational First Aid II or III.
  • Demonstrated experience supervising, coaching, and mentoring a team.
  • Strong communicator who leads with empathy and a listening mindset.
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Post secondary education in law enforcement or security is an asset.
  • Intermediate Computer Skills
  • Full-time availability with flexibility.
