Contract: Full-time, PermanentWe are seeking a passionate and dedicated KS2 Teacher to join our supportive and nurturing team at a Primary SEN School based in Waterlooville. The successful candidate will be committed to making a difference in the lives of students with special educational needs, including those with social and communication difficulties, autism, speech and language difficulties, and learning difficulties.About the Role:
As a KS2 Teacher in our school, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality education tailored to the individual needs of each student. You will work with a small class of students who require additional support, ensuring they receive an engaging, inclusive, and effective learning experience. This is a full-time, permanent position, with the role beginning in September.Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver differentiated lessons for KS2 students with a range of special educational needs.
- Develop and implement personalised learning plans that support the academic, social, and emotional development of each student.
- Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.
- Provide a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment where students feel valued and confident.
- Monitor student progress, assess their needs, and adjust teaching methods to ensure their success.
- Build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff, maintaining open communication and working together to support the development of each child.
About You:
- Essential: UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching in a specialist setting, particularly with students with special educational needs.
- A deep understanding of the needs of children with social and communication difficulties, autism, speech and language difficulties, and learning difficulties.
- Passionate about working with children and committed to making a positive difference in their educational journey.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team of professionals.
- A flexible, patient, and creative approach to teaching, with a strong focus on individualised support and care.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
