In Partnership with Teaching PersonnelAre you a passionate and experienced teacher with a dedication to supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Teaching Personnel is seeking a compassionate SEN Primary Teacher to join a supportive school in Hull.The Role

  • Position: SEN Primary Teacher
  • Location: Hull, East Yorkshire
  • Start Date: January 2024 (or sooner if available)
  • Contract: Full-time, long-term with potential for permanency
  • Pay: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to meet the needs of SEN pupils.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor and support the academic and personal development of each child.
  • Work collaboratively with support staff, families, and external agencies.
  • Uphold the school’s SEN policies and promote best practices in SEN teaching.

About You

  • Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) with experience teaching primary-aged pupils.
  • Previous experience working with SEN pupils is essential.
  • Strong understanding of SEN strategies and differentiation techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A valid DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
