With over 80 students currently enrolled, the institution is on the lookout for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team on a long-term basis for the remainder of the academic year. This full-time role requires availability from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, during term time.This school takes pride in their inclusive approach to education, catering to learners with Autism, Asperger’s, and other associated learning difficulties. Requirements:
- Demonstrated resilience, compassion, and commitment to supporting SEN learners in an educational setting
- Previous experience in care or education is desirable but not essential
- Eligibility to work in the UK
Responsibilities:
- Providing support to SEN learners in KS1-KS4 on a 1:1, small group, and classroom basis
- Engaging with parents and caregivers to communicate students’ progress
- Participating in departmental meetings, parents’ evenings, and whole-school training events
