With over 80 students currently enrolled, the institution is on the lookout for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team on a long-term basis for the remainder of the academic year. This full-time role requires availability from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, during term time.This school takes pride in their inclusive approach to education, catering to learners with Autism, Asperger’s, and other associated learning difficulties. Their curriculum is thoughtfully designed to foster creativity, breadth of knowledge, and recreational activities, ensuring a holistic learning experience for every child. Requirements:

  • Demonstrated resilience, compassion, and commitment to supporting SEN learners in an educational setting
  • Previous experience in care or education is desirable but not essential
  • Eligibility to work in the UK

Responsibilities:

  • Providing support to SEN learners in KS1-KS4 on a 1:1, small group, and classroom basis
  • Engaging with parents and caregivers to communicate students’ progress
  • Participating in departmental meetings, parents’ evenings, and whole-school training events
