We have an exciting opportunity for an SEN Teacher to join a lovely SEN School in the heart of West London.As an SEN Teacher in this Key Stage 2 ASC class, you will have the chance to inspire and nurture young minds every day. You will be working in a supportive and inclusive environment, where every child’s progress is celebrated. This is a full-time role, initially through the agency, but with a strong possibility of a straight permanent position.Responsibilities of an SEN Teacher:– Create and deliver tailored lessons to meet the individual needs of each student in the class.– Develop engaging and interactive teaching methods to encourage active participation and learning.– Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes emotional well-being and academic growth.– Collaborate with other professionals, such as speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, and educational psychologists, to provide a holistic approach to learning.– Regularly assess and track students’ progress, adapting teaching strategies accordingly to ensure maximum development.– Implement individualised education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies to support students with additional needs.– Communicate effectively with parents and carers, providing regular updates on their child’s progress and involving them in the learning process.– Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and parent evenings to contribute to the school’s ongoing development and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and families.If you are a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher, ready to make a difference, then we would love to hear from you.
