Looking for a SEN Teacher in Poole!Job Title: SEN Teacher
Location: Poole
Salary: £30,000 – £46,525 (MPS/UPS)

GSL Education are currently partnering with an outstanding SEN school in Poole, who are seeking a dedicated full-time Teacher to start in the new academic year.About the School:The school serves as an Alternative Provision for students who are unable to access mainstream education due to factors such as health issues and behavioural challenges. With a commitment to fostering rapid and sustained progress, the school strives to achieve the best possible outcomes for each student. Emphasising successful transitions to the next life stage, the school prioritises safety, self-awareness, and emotional resilience, ensuring a supportive environment for holistic growth and development.As a SEN Teacher, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with diverse learning needs.Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver dynamic lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students with SEN such as Autism.
• Provide individualised support and guidance to autistic students, promoting their academic and personal development.
• Collaborate with colleagues and external professionals to create comprehensive support plans for students with SEN
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and development, ensuring that all necessary documentation is up-to-date
• Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and carers, promoting effective communication and collaboration

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification in SEN education
• Previous experience of working in a SEN school setting
• Strong understanding of different SEN needs and effective strategies for supporting students
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents
• Dedication to promoting inclusion and equality in education
