SEN Teaching AssistantJob Title: SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary School
Location: Hendon, North West London
Contract Type: Full-Time (Monday–Friday)
Start Date: After May Half Term
Pay: £90–£110 per day (depending on experience)

Do you have experience working with pupils with Autism or additional learning needs?Milk Education is working closely with a welcoming primary school in Hendon to recruit a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join the team after the May half term. This is a full-time, ongoing role with the potential to continue into the next academic year.Key Responsibilities:Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with special educational needs, including AutismWork closely with the SENCo, class teacher, and wider school team to deliver targeted interventionsSupport pupils in managing routines, communication, and transitions throughout the dayAdapt learning materials to suit individual needs and encourage pupil engagementHelp maintain a positive, inclusive learning environmentMonitor and report on progress to staff and parents where requiredThe Ideal Candidate Will Have:Previous experience supporting children with SEN, particularly Autism (in a school or similar setting)A patient, calm and nurturing approachExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to build trusting relationships with pupils and staffA proactive and flexible attitude towards supporting learning and wellbeingRelevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, Psychology degree, or equivalent) are desirable but not essentialWhy Work with Milk Education?Competitive daily pay, paid weeklySupport from a dedicated SEN recruitment consultantOpportunity to gain hands-on SEN experience in a supportive school settingFREE safeguarding and CPD training to boost your confidence and skills through our Milk AcademyInterested?Apply for this role todday and our team will reach out for a quick chat about the role.Milk Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff to share this commitment.
