Justteachers teaching agency are currently recruiting for a dedicated Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to join our team and support a child with Autism at a partner primary school in Bolton.Job Description:As a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing tailored support to a child with Autism. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting the child with daily classroom activities and ensuring their integration into the school environment.
• Implementing individualised learning plans and adapting teaching methods to suit the child’s needs.
• Collaborating with the class teacher and other school staff to monitor and report on the child’s progress.
• Creating a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
• Using specialised strategies and resources to help the child develop social, emotional, and academic skills.
• Providing 1:1 support and creating a safe and nurturing atmosphere.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children with Autism or other special educational needs.
• A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting children with additional needs.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Relevant qualifications or training in special education or a related field (desirable but not essential)
• A commitment to promoting the well-being and educational progress of the child.
