SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary School in Tottenham – Start Date: 4th November 2024A primary school in Tottenham is seeking a highly skilled SEN Teaching Assistant to support a young boy in Year 4 with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) needs. This SEN Teaching Assistant role requires extensive experience in managing children with Autism, particularly those who exhibit challenging behaviours. The position begins on 4th November 2024 and is ideal for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in a primary school environment.Key Responsibilities for the SEN Teaching Assistant:

• As the dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide 1:1 support to a boy in Year 4, helping him navigate his academic and social challenges.
• You will work closely with the class teacher to adapt lessons and create a positive learning atmosphere for the child as the SEN Teaching Assistant.
• The SEN Teaching Assistant will be responsible for managing behaviour, including the use of restraint when necessary, ensuring the child and other students are safe.
• As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will foster the student’s emotional and social development through personalised strategies tailored to his specific needs.
