Job description1:1 SEN Teaching AssistantProspero Teaching is looking for a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant for an Ofsted “Outstanding” Primary school in Newham, London.The school is a popular three-form entry mainstream Primary School with a supportive senior leadership team.CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

  • Location – Newham, London
  • Position – 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant
  • Type of work – Supporting a Reception child with ASD
  • Contract or position start date – ASAP
  • Duration / Likely Duration – Until end of the academic year July 2025
  • Contract or position end date (if applicable) – July 2025
  • Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm) – Temporary
  • Full time/part time – Full time
  • Rate of pay – £85 – £105 per day
  • Hours – 8:30 am – 3:30pm : Mon – Fri (term time only)

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ideally minimum 1 year experience in the UK Primary Schools
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two year
