Smart Teachers is looking to appoint an SEN Teaching Assistant to join a ‘Good’ school in Pinner, Harrow.About the role

  • Role begins ASAP and is for the duration of the academic year on a full-time basis (8:30-15:30)
  • Liaise effectively and work in partnership with Class Teacher in a Key Stage One classroom.
  • SEN TA will support children 1-1 with ASD who needs regular breaks. The right candidate with be proactive and have experience with ASD.

About the school

  • Primary school with Nursery located in Pinner, Harrow.
  • Two classes in each year group, except for Year 4 where there is one class.
  • Recognised as having excellent pastoral education.
  • Recently introduced LSA’s to every classroom to support SEND

RequirementsTo be considered for the role of SEN Teaching Assistant you will:

  • Experience as support staff within a primary setting (SEN desirable)
  • Have a ‘child workforce only’ DBS on the Update Service or willing to obtain one

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

  • Prior experience with children
