Your commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and facilitating academic growth will contribute to the well-rounded education for the students.”About the Role:GSL Education are currently seeking to appoint enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to undertake a position at schools in Eastleigh. Your role will involve providing personalised assistance, promoting a love for learning, and contributing to the overall academic development of students in diverse special needs.SEN Teaching Assistant Role:

• Implement strategies to support students with diverse special needs particularly those with autism or social and emotional needs to help them reach their maximum potential.
• Cooperating with teachers and fellow SEN Teaching Assistants to foster an inclusive atmosphere conducive to learning.
• Utilising various methods to encourage positive behaviour and active participation in learning activities.
• Contribute to maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment by assisting with behaviour management and fostering a sense of belonging among students.
• Offer personalised one-on-one assistance to students with special needs.

Requirements for SEN Teaching Assistant role:

• Experience working with children with special educational needs, particularly those with autism or social and emotional needs.
• Knowledge of and experience with behaviour management strategies.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate effectively with parents and other professionals.
• A patient and nurturing approach to working with children.
• Ability to adapt and be flexible in a fast-paced and changing environment.

• Commitment to ongoing professional development in SEN practices and strategies.

To work with GSL Education as a SEN Teaching Assistant, you should:

• Have the right to work in the UK.

• Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.

• Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
