If so, we’d love to hear from you!A nurturing and inclusive school based in Bromley, London that I work with are seeking SEN Teaching Assistants and Behaviour Mentors to join their dedicated team. These are long-term positions with the view to becoming permanent for the right candidates.Position 1: SEN Teaching AssistantAs an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic and emotional development of students with special and complex needs. Your responsibilities will include: * Providing tailored support to children with diverse needs across all lessons and subjects.

  • Working closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging and inclusive lessons.
  • Encouraging independence and confidence in students’ learning journeys.
  • Adapting your approach to meet the unique needs of each child.

What we’re looking for: * A resilient and empathetic individual who remains professional under pressure.

  • Someone with a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
  • Flexibility to support various subjects and adjust to different teaching methods.
  • Previous experience in SEN or a related field is advantageous but not essential.

Position 2: Behaviour MentorAs a Behaviour Mentor, you will focus on supporting students with challenging behaviour, fostering a positive learning environment, and encouraging personal growth. Your responsibilities will include: * Supporting children with behavioural challenges to access their education.

  • Implementing strategies to promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
  • Building strong, trusting relationships with students to understand and meet their needs.
  • Working collaboratively with teachers and parents to ensure consistency in approach.

What we’re looking for: * A confident, resilient individual who can handle challenging situations calmly.

  • Someone with excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students.
  • Knowledge of behaviour management strategies and techniques.
  • Prior experience in a similar role is a plus but not mandatory.
