Requirements

  • Eligibility to work in the UK (No sponsorship provided)
  • Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one through Randstad – this is essential
  • Provide 2 professional references – this is essential
  • Passion for working with SEN children
  • Relevant GCSE, ‘A’ level or graduate qualifications or equivalent
  • Ability to establish positive and meaningful relationships with SEN students and teachers
  • Empathetic, caring and compassionate

Responsibilities

  • Supporting KS3-KS4 SEN learners on a 1:1, small group, and classroom basis
  • Attend student’s personal needs and offer guidance on welfare matters.
  • Prepare materials of the quality and quantity specified by the teacher
  • Protect pupils who require special education by providing them with specific assistance.
  • Support behaviour management at the beginning and end of lessons and during lesson transfer
  • Support the delivery of high quality, challenging and differentiated educational activities and sensory experiences
  • Contribute to the delivery of high-quality, challenging, and tailored educational activities aligned with a diverse and comprehensive curriculum
  • Help Children to reach their full potential across all learning domains
