Start Date: ASAP – Ongoing
Working Hours: 8:30am – 3:45pm
Location: TamworthDo you have a passion for shaping a child’s early learning experience? Are you equipped with the skills and patience to support a child with speech and language difficulties?
We are seeking a committed 1:1 Teaching Assistant to become part of our caring and dedicated Reception team. In this role, you will provide personalised support to a child with speech and language needs, helping them succeed in both their academic and social development.Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver one-to-one support to a child in Reception, with a focus on developing speech, language, and communication skills.
- Collaborate with teachers and speech therapists to implement personalised learning plans.
- Promote confidence, independence, and social engagement.
- Create a positive and inclusive atmosphere that supports learning and growth.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children, especially in early years environments.
- Understanding of speech and language support techniques (previous experience is advantageous).
- Patience, empathy, and excellent communication abilities.
- Strong ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to aid the child’s development.
