Full-Time (8:00 AM – 3:30 PM), Monday – Friday

Are you a passionate and compassionate educator looking to make a positive impact on the life of a young person? We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support a high-functioning pupil with autism in a Year 4 classroom.
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualised support to a pupil with autism, ensuring their academic and social needs are met.
• Work closely with the class teacher to implement tailored learning strategies.
• Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment that promotes the pupil’s emotional well-being.
• Encourage and support the pupil’s participation in school activities and social interactions.

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience working with children with autism or other special educational needs.
• A strong understanding of autism and its impact on learning and behaviour.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A patient and empathetic approach.
• A commitment to providing high-quality support.
