Salary: £83.33 – £95.00 per day (Depending on experience)

As a SEND Graduate, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs, helping them with their academic and personal development. You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. This is an excellent opportunity to create a meaningful difference within a supportive and inclusive educational environment.Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of individualised education plans for students to tailor educational activities and resources to meet their specific needs.
• Provide one-on-one support to students to help them understand and complete their work, providing additional explanations and assistance as needed.
• Monitor and assess students’ progress, provide feedback to teachers, and adjust support strategies as necessary.
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure a cohesive approach to students’ development.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment to foster a welcoming and supportive atmosphere where students feel valued and included.
• Use a variety of teaching methods to engage and motivate students, catering to their diverse learning styles and needs.
• Maintain accurate records of students’ progress and report to teachers, parents, and other relevant parties.

Requirements

• Prior experience in a similar role is essential, demonstrating an understanding of the unique challenges and needs of students with special educational needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with students, parents, and colleagues, building positive and supportive relationships.
• Demonstrate the ability to establish trust and rapport with all members of the school community.
• Show a deep commitment to helping students by exhibiting patience and empathy in your interactions.
• Relevant qualifications or training in education (desirable but not essential).

• Have the right to work in the UK.
• Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
• Have an enhanced DBS registered to the Updated Service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
