SEND Support Specialist – LiverpoolTradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Support Assistant to join one of our exceptional schools in Liverpool. This is a long-term position, starting as soon as possible, where you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students with complex additional needs.You’ll be joining an inclusive and nurturing school, committed to creating a safe and supportive academic environment for all students. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced educator to help students with Special Educational Needs (SEND) reach their full potential.Key Responsibilities:Promote inclusion and acceptance for all studentsProvide consistent 1:1 support to students, addressing their individual needsCollaborate with the teacher in lesson planning, evaluating, and adapting lessons to meet the needs of studentsDeliver catch-up sessions to help students progress academicallyAssist with personal care needs where appropriateEssential Qualifications & Skills:Recent relevant experience working with children and young people, particularly those with SENDA genuine passion for education and supporting studentsStrong numeracy and literacy skillsAbility to work effectively under the guidance of the teacherExperience in personal care for students with additional needs is requiredThis is an exciting and rewarding role for anyone passionate about education and looking to make a difference in the SEND sector.To apply, please submit your CV or contact Shannon on 0151 221 9666 or [email protected] for more information.We look forward to hearing from you!
