SEND Teaching Assistant – Liverpool (Supply Basis)Tradewind Recruitment is seeking dedicated SEND Teaching Assistants to join our team on a supply basis in Liverpool. You will work with children aged 5-11 years with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), supporting their academic and personal development in both mainstream and specialist settings.Key Responsibilities:Provide tailored support to children with SEND in small groups or one-to-one settings.Assist with daily classroom activities and ensure students are engaged in learning.Provide personal care when required, ensuring the dignity and wellbeing of the children.Help develop social skills and encourage independence.Work closely with teachers and other staff to create a nurturing environment.Requirements:Experience working with children with SEND, ideally within the 5-11 age range.Willingness to perform personal care duties as required.Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.Ability to adapt to different schools and learning environments.This is a flexible, supply-based role offering competitive rates of pay.
