Your role in our future

The Senior Account Executive will seek out new business and closely manage a customer base within a protected territory. This position is responsible for developing and leading a proactive sales effort to achieve sales and margin targets for hardware and SaaS solutions. Quadient sales enablement team will support all new territory representatives with clear and extensive product knowledge, understanding of industry trends, and a company wide sales methodology.

Your role in our future

  • Analyzing market trends in relation to objectives and competitive activities.

  • Maintaining sales records and ensuring accurate reporting through the daily use of Salesforce.com (SFDC) to facilitate strong information sharing throughout the national direct and dealer sales forces.

  • Working with SFDC to produce and cultivate opportunities.

  • Supporting the position by facilitating the sales process, demonstrating products and solutions, and finalizing contracts.

  • Must be self-motivated to enhance solutions skills. Establishing an up-to-date skillset on advancements with Quadient solutions includes ongoing self-training and effective customer facing solution demonstrations.

  • Building and maintaining effective relationships with customers at all levels in the buying organization.

  • Effectively leveraging cross-functional teams within the organization to meet the customers’ needs.

  • Effectively assessing customers’ business workflows, building detailed business cases addressing key gaps and challenges, translating to quantified business impact.

  • Ensuring adherence to Company policies and procedures.

  • Maintaining high quality standards for the development of business proposals and program offerings.

  • Supporting sales training programs, including participating in events that facilitate the transfer of product and industry knowledge to other team members.

Your profile

  • Strong commitment to maintain the highest ethical standards, integrity and professionalism while adhering to current sales and other organizational processes.

  • Business acumen with the ability to contribute to the development and execution of strategic plans.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the aptitude to build strong internal business relationships and to call effectively at the decision-maker level.

  • Experience in developing and writing proposals.

  • Aptitude for learning new technology along with the ability to demonstrate the benefits of technology and complex office equipment.

  • Sound organizational skills.

  • Ability to negotiate and influence positively along with effective group presentation skills.

  • Problem-solving ability and proven analytical skills and resourcefulness to effectively address customer-related issues.

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel nationally and frequently.
