Senior Accountant

IDEAL CANDIDATE

Seeking: Senior Accountant who is highly motivated and ideally has experience in the Property Management field.

Experience Required: A minimum of 3 years in a senior accounting, controller, or assistant controller position.

Skills Desired: Verbal and written communication are vital. Strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions. Attention to accuracy and detail required.

Credentials Preferred: BA, BS, or BCom degree required (Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics) or equivalent certification and experience.

Duties:

  • Managing accounting practices and procedures
  • Supporting/supervising the day-to-day activities of the accounting team
  • Creating monthly financial statements and variance analyses accurately and timely
  • Verifying and executing rent rolls and payroll
  • Completing year-end working papers
  • Managing cash flow
  • Working hand in hand with the operations team in order to ensure receivables are collected on time and expenses are in line with budgets
