Description We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team in Jacksonville, Florida. This role primarily involves maintaining accurate financial records, enhancing the department’s efficiency, and ensuring compliance with GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley. You will be instrumental in fostering a culture of continuous improvement in the accounting department.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with HRIS team to ensure accurate employee costing and accounting elements in the HCM payroll system.

• Drive the compliance of accounting systems with GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley.

• Implement new process improvement initiatives as needed.

• Ensure ownership and accuracy of various processes and reports.

• Understand and efficiently use multiple ERP instances, COAs, and Lines of Business.

• Monitor and process transactions related to employee transfers across Lines of Business.

• Work directly with acquired businesses to ensure correct processing of payroll accounting entries in legacy ERPs.

• Reconcile payroll balance sheet accounts accurately and timely.

• Assist with accounting system integration activities of newly acquired companies as needed.

• Perform duties in compliance with GAAP, company and department policies and procedures, and internal controls.

• Support the training and development of staff. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ADP – Financial Services

• Familiarity with ERP Solutions

• Knowledge of Great Plains (GPAC) tool

• Ability to perform Accounting Functions

• Skills in Auditing

• Experience with Oracle Fusion HCM

• Proficiency in Oracle Fusion

• Prior experience in a Senior Accountant role

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field

• CPA or relevant certification is a plus

• Knowledge of accounting principles and best practices

• Strong Excel skills are required.
