We’re seeking organized, driven individuals with research experience in AI/ML and data science. As part of our team, you’ll solve complex real-world problems and contribute to continuous technical development and applied research.Essential Skills:

• Mathematical Background: A degree or equivalent experience in a mathematical or closely related field. We value diverse educational backgrounds.
• Advanced Education: A PhD in machine learning or equivalent expertise.
• Cutting-Edge Techniques: Proven expertise with state-of-the-art techniques, examples including:

• Agent-based ML
• Reinforcement Learning
• Deep Learning
• Explainable AI
• Transformers
• Generative AI (Large Language Models and/or Small Language Models)
• Industrial Research: Willingness to work on challenging industrial research projects. Your impact will be tangible.
• Commercial Experience: Experience creating, writing and delivering bids/proposals.
• Project Experience: Demonstrated success in researching and delivering ML/AI solutions.
• Technical Leadership: Demonstratable technical leading experience including leading small teams.
• MLOps: Exposure to MLOps practices.
• Software Implementation: Proficiency in implementing data science and ML algorithms using Python.
• Python Machine Learning Frameworks: Experience with one or more python machine learning frameworks such as Tensorflow, PyTorch or JAX
• Code Quality Monitoring:

Leading code reviews. Developing Tests. * Mentoring and Advising: Experience mentoring and advising team members in AI and data science technical and software development.

• Effective Communication: Strong verbal and written skills, including an interest in bid writing. As much of our work is customer focused, your effective communication skills and ability to present professionally both verbally and in writing are important skills for this role. Mentorship and training can be provided to improve these skills.

Desirable Skills (Non-Essential):

• Advanced Education: PhD. in machine learning/artificial intelligence or equivalent
• Cloud Computing (Azure): Experience with Azure cloud services, enabling efficient AI/ML deployment and scalability.
• Application Domains: experience in application domains such as Autonomy, NLP, Computer Vision, or Cyber Security. Your diverse interests enrich our work.
• Line Management and/or Mentorship Experience guiding junior team members.
• Docker: Familiarity of containerization using Docker.
• Agile Projects: Productive experience working in agile projects.
• Exposure to MLOps practices including understanding of testing for ML algorithms. ..
• Code Quality Monitoring: Ability to monitor code quality and collaborate with team members to address any issues.
• Other Programming Languages: We appreciate a wide range of technical proficiencies such as
