Senior Analyst

Location: hybrid home/central Manchester office

Contract: Fixed term full time 2-year contract

Salary range: £39,186 – £43,421

About us:

Manchester Climate Change Agency is a not-for-profit community interest company that provides
independent advice and guidance to the city on its climate change policies, facilitates
Manchester’s Climate Change Partnership, and delivers programmes that support the city to
achieve its climate goals. It sets Manchester’s climate change targets and tracks the city’s
progress via detailed analysis and reporting of emissions data and other key indicators for
local, national and international audiences.

About the role:

With funding from the DESNZ Local Net Zero Accelerator Pilot, a temporary Senior Analyst role
has been created to contribute to the intelligence function of MCCA to facilitate decision
making and the delivery of the strategic objectives across the city.

This exciting role is responsible for the analysis of complex data, emissions data, financial
data and statistics from a range of sources to provide meaningful, relevant and cost effective
intelligence and interpretation of data to successfully inform strategic decisions and
policy-making in the city.

Additional information:

The role holder will be employed by Manchester City Council and seconded into the Manchester
Climate Change Agency.

This role is being recruited through Manchester City Council, alongside two other roles.
