About the Role:As a Senior Applications Engineer at ToffeeX, you will be a bridge between our cutting-edge software and our valued customers, acting as their primary technical contact, and guaranteeing they achieve maximum value from our advanced computational fluid dynamics and optimization software.You’ll leverage your expertise to understand customer needs, translate them into actionable product requirements, and champion the adoption of our software across diverse industries.Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive customer evaluations to gain a deep understanding of their unique goals, challenges, and limitations.
  • Participate actively in all technical aspects of the sales cycle, including customer meetings, product presentations, and demonstrations.
  • Transform customer requirements into clear and concise product specifications and work with our team to develop products that meet our customers’ needs.
  • Contribute to testing and evaluating the usability of new software’s features and functionalities.
  • Test and demonstrate our software’s capabilities for a variety of fluid—and thermodynamic (and more!) applications. This involves setting up, running, and troubleshooting CFD-type problems, as well as interpreting the results.
  • Train and support our customers to maximize the value they get from our software.
  • Help with the development of user documentation and best practices.
  • PhD in Engineering, or related field, OR a Master’s degree with a minimum of three years of experience in CFD simulations (Industry or academia)
  • Proven track record of applying CFD analyses for internal flow problems (proficiency in open-source tools is a plus).

Educational Background:Technical Skills:

  • Ability to analyze, post-process, and debug CFD simulations, both independently and collaboratively.
  • Solid understanding of heat transfer principles.
  • Familiarity with CAD/CAE software tools (Fusion360 preferred)
  • Preferred knowledge of C++ and Python to directly operate on the software code by either improving existing features or adding new ones.
  • Preferred experience with multi-physics simulations.
  • Preferred knowledge of 3D modelling software such as Blender and MeshMixer.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to clearly articulate complex concepts and collaborate effectively within a small team.
  • Open to giving and receiving constructive feedback.
