Senior Clinical Fellow -Vascular Surgery

This initial 6 month post, renewable for one year thereafter, offers advanced training in vascular surgery. This post is designed to support the clinical activities of the Department of Vascular Surgery at King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and at Bromley campus. The post is not recognised for pre-CCST training but is designed to provide advanced experience in vascular surgery.Main duties of the jobThe post holder should be at the experience level of ST5. The post holder should also be able to demonstrate experience in all aspects of vascular surgery and also be competent in emergency and vascular trauma surgery. King’s is a Major Trauma Centre and the post holder will participate in SpR on call vascular emergency and vascular trauma. The department offers excellent opportunities for clinical research and candidates with a proven research interest and track record will be preferred.
