This post will be within the School of Clinical and Experimental Science based on the University Hospital Southampton campus. This appointment will strengthen research in the field of Anaesthesia, Perioperative and Critical Care. The post-holder will have an established record of research and publication and will be expected to develop and lead a major programme of funded clinical research in the field of Anaesthesia, Perioperative and Critical Care. The appointee will provide leadership within the appointee’s relevant NIHR Southampton Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) theme (Perioperative and Critical Care theme) and will contribute to the academic leadership within the School of Clinical and Experimental Science and the Faculty, enhancing the quality of our research, enterprise, and education. The post holder will also join a dynamic team of consultants where a multitude of subspecialist interests could be accommodated.
