We wish to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced clinician to join the Division to provide teaching in Adult Dental Care/Restorative Dentistry to all ranges of students (UG BDS and PG students) and contribute to the teaching and scholarship within the highly successful Division of Dentistry.The post holder will hold a substantive contract of employment with the University of Manchester but will hold a joint contract of employment with an NHS Trust where they will hold Clinically paid PA’s (minimum of 2 PA’s)You will be managerially and academically responsible to the University and specifically to the Head of the Division of Dentistry.This post is for up to 9 PA’s with the University of Manchester and must form part of a joint job plan with an NHS Trust. The job plan will comprise of a maximum of 5 Academic PA’s and a minimum of 2 NHS paid PA’s.The post holder must hold a substantive NHS Consultant post in order to qualify for the Hon Consultant pay scale.Should the candidate be looking to be paid as a Consultant a second interview may be required with the relevant NHS Trust.What can you expect in returnThe University will actively foster a culture of inclusion and diversity and will seek to achieve true equality of opportunity for all members of its community.What you will get in return:
