We are now looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer to join the team!You will be instrumental in developing and implementing the organization’s cloud strategy and architecture. This role involves optimizing the cloud environment for cost-efficiency, and utilization, while building the right tools to enable lean cloud governance and maximize the business value of cloud. You will play a crucial role in cultivating a FinOps mindset within the organization.You will report to the CCoE lead.Let’s talk about Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive cloud optimization strategy, roadmap, and architecture that aligns with the organization’s business goals and drivers, in partnership with the engineering manager & product manager.
- Define and implement cloud standards, guidelines, workflows, and best practices to ensure consistency across the organization. Lead architectural reviews in the cloud domain to drive optimized architectural decisions.
- Lead Cloud CoE from an Enterprise Architecture perspective to develop and maintain cloud framework and cloud design patterns for infrastructure, data, and applications. Provide guidance to business and IT stakeholders.
- Document and present cloud architectures, decisions, and strategies to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the security and platform teams to build the right tools in order to shape and enforce a lean cloud governance.
- Collaborate with the finance team to implement FinOps principles to optimize cloud costs, allocate and apportion costs accurately, and provide clear and actionable insights into cloud spending.
- Promotes a culture of continuous optimization and ensure optimal performance, cost-efficiency, and utilization by reviewing regularly and optimizing the cloud environment.
- Collaborate with Developer eXperience team to modernize software development and leverage containerization to build resilient and scalable solutions in cloud.
- Evaluate and select cloud vendors, solutions, and services that align with the organization’s business goals and drivers. Collaborate with vendors to design and implement cloud solutions.
- Stay ahead of the curve on emerging technologies, vendors, and solutions to facilitate enterprise advancement.
Let’s talk about Qualifications and ExperienceRequired:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science (or related field)
- 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture, with a focus on cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Exceptional communication skills (in English), capable of conveying complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Professional certifications like AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or similar.
- Working knowledge of DevOps tools and strategies.
Preferred:
- Already led a public Cloud migration.
- 3+ years of experience in solution management in a cloud-native platform (Software Development / Solution Architect level).
- 3+ year of experience in deployment / installation of multienvironment solutions, with an automation mindset.

- Strong skills in cloud native development like Step function, Lambda, DynamoDB, cloudfront…
- Solid Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Github actions, Terraform enterprise)
- Knowledge of FinOps, SecOps and DevOps principles.
- Good understanding of cloud-native principles.
- Strong skills with back end technologies (Python scripting, API management, data ingestion)
- Good skills in using and maintaining dev environment with VSCode, container, WSL, Github.
- Good debugging, testing and problem-solving skills.
- Solid Experience with Agile software development processes, particularly Scrum and/or Kanban.
Preferred:
- Knowledge on PrismaCloud.
- Strong skills with Web’s front end technologies (React, Typescript)
