Senior Cost Analyst – Low Carbon Projects x2

Are you ready to be at the forefront of an energy revolution? Ofgem is not just leading the
charge towards a Net Zero future – we are the driving force behind the transformation of the
UK’s energy sector. We are currently on the hunt for two Senior Cost Analysts to take on an
exciting challenge and play a pivotal role in meeting our decarbonisation goals.

Ofgem is Great Britain’s independent energy regulator. We’re at the forefront of change across
the energy sector, driving toward Net Zero whilst protecting energy consumers – especially
vulnerable people.

We’re offering two permanent, full-time roles with opportunities to expand your expertise, take
on high-profile projects and build a diverse skill set in the energy sector. This varied role
allows you to take ownership of key projects that are currently shaping the future of the
energy sector, supporting our mission to ensure a sustainable and affordable energy supply for
everyone.

You’ll work alongside our talented teams, providing advice and guidance to support
evidence-based decisions, promote regulatory compliance and push the boundaries of what’s
possible in the journey to Net Zero. This role offers the perfect blend of challenge and
opportunity, with the chance to collaborate with industry experts, drive real change and
develop professionally along the way.

We’re looking for individuals who are excited by the complexities of the energy sector and have
experience in energy, infrastructure or regulatory environments. You’ll need experience in the
operation or regulation of infrastructure or utility companies (or similar), and in return
you’ll find all the resources and support you need to thrive and make a meaningful impact.

What’s more, we offer fully flexible working, including condensed hours and a hybrid working
model, with just one day a week in our stunning, modern offices in London, Glasgow or Cardiff.
You’ll enjoy a fantastic range of benefits and rewards, all within a collaborative and
supportive environment where your expertise is valued, and teamwork is key.

We have a critical purpose in the fight against climate change and the drive towards a
carbon-neutral future, and this is your chance to enhance your professional profile and take on
meaningful, high-impact work in the energy sector.
