You will be working in a start-up environment within a large corporate organization where you will be trusted to make important decisions, and your impact seen worldwide.Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Analyze surgical datasets using statistical methods to derive insights
  • Work extensively with databases to ensure data integrity and accessibility
  • Create and maintain Tableau dashboards for efficient data visualization
  • Investigate new methodologies for effective data reporting
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve processes and streamline workflows

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • MSc or PhD in a science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) subject
  • Excellent Structured Query Language (SQL) skills and experience in database tools such as data build tool (dbt)
  • Extensive experience in building dashboards preferably using Tableau
  • Broad statistical knowledge
  • A demonstrated ability for developing innovative experimentation and analysis methods to infer insights from complex sets of data
  • Practical object-oriented programming experience in Python with knowledge of relevant packages including Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, Matplotlib, Scikit-learn
  • Experience in writing clean and maintainable code for collaborative working and using code versioning tools
  • Excellent communicator – comfortable talking with programmers, marketers, surgeons, business leaders, and everyone in-between

Experienced in using tools for handling big data and working with clinical data sets is a plus.
