BSG Ecology
The Opportunity
This is a great opportunity to join our friendly and supportive team in Newport and one of the
UK’s largest and most experienced independent ecological consultancies.
You will take responsibility for complex, high-profile and ecologically interesting projects.
We will work with you to develop your skills in all aspects of ecology and consultancy work
through mentoring, a structured review process and tailored training programme.
We are particularly looking for more experienced candidates including those with a specialist
interest in birds or botany and an aptitude for project management. We have a very strong
renewable energy portfolio in Wales and this requires detailed programmes of bird survey and
large scale botanical work.
In addition to a competitive salary and 25 days annual leave, we offer benefits that include
flexible working, private healthcare, company-funded social events and health and well-being
benefits.
We are a 100% employee-owned company. We have taken the positive step to
employee-ownership to help us to ensure that the company remains independent for the long-term
and that the interests and values of the business are maintained for the benefit of current and
future employees.
