You will identify experts to act as peer reviewers to ensure we publish high-quality content. Your attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks will be critical in maintaining our standards. You will build global relationships with people and institutes in the translational research community to identify new material, authors, subject experts, and content opportunities.Responsibilities:Arranging peer-review and commissioning content to ensure the successful and timely publication of high-quality translational researchStaying up to date with the latest literature and research developmentsEngaging in conferences and academic meetings, along with site visits to develop and maintain links with the international research communityWriting editorials, commissioning reviews and commentaries and publishing correspondence to build the journal’s profile among the communities we serveSubediting material from all sections of our journal to improve clarity of expression and to conform to journal styleRequirements:Have a higher degree in a relevant discipline with postdoctoral research experience or previous editorial experienceHave the ability to communicate fairly and constructively with members of the translational research communityDemonstrate broad knowledge of biological and medical sciencesHave an exceptional command of the English language and the ability to write in an engaging mannerBe able to travel to internationally for meetings and conferencesAble to work in the UK or Spain without restrictionsWork in a way that works for you:We promote a healthy work/life balance across the organisation.
