The journal rigorously reviews research spanning public health areas, including disease prevention, health promotion, healthcare systems, and the social determinants of health.About the RoleThe Senior Editor contributes to the production of a high-quality, monthly , open access journal.ResponsibilitiesCoordinating peer review of Research papers, negotiating revisionsReviewing Comments, Correspondence, and commission content to meet annual targets.Writing editorialsCultivating public health connections, surveying literature for journal content, and identifying suitable authorsRepresenting the journal at events, identifying topics and authors, and staying current in public health through conferences and gatherings.Sub-editing material from all sections of the journal to improve clarity of expression, and to conform to journal styleSuggesting and helping to develop new initiatives for the further development of the journalRequirementsA PhD (in a relevant subject) is desirableHave good knowledge of public health and medical sciencesBe fluent in English (oral and written) and excellent all-round communication skillsBe able to travelWork in a way that works for youWe promote a healthy work/life balance across the organisation.
