About usUCL Institute of Ophthalmology conducts cutting-edge research, attracting principal investigators, post-doctoral fellows and MD/PhD students of the highest international calibre to a stimulating research environment.About the roleThe Senior Finance and Research Administrator is a key member of the Finance and Research Team, responsible for delivering an efficient and effective day-to-day finance and research administration service at the Institute of Ophthalmology (IoO).About youEducated to degree level (or equivalent) or have significant experience in Higher Education or similar environment, the Senior Finance & Research Administrator should have substantial experience in pre- and post-award research grant administration, including knowledge of research funding processes in an academic environment.The postholder will have experience in financial accounting with the ability to prepare and co-ordinate accurate reports, budgets and recommendations.What we offerWorking with some of the greatest intellects in the world, UCL also offers a generous pension scheme and holiday allowance, plus closure and bank holidays as well as enhanced parental pay and more.
