About the roleThe Department of Mechanical Engineering is pleased to be recruiting for a Senior Finance Officer to deliver a high quality and timely service to staff and other internal and external stakeholders.Based at our Bloomsbury campus, the successful applicant will be entrusted with administering the financial activities of the department. Their core responsibilities are to ensure effective procedures are documented and adopted for dealing with all aspects of financial administration ,with an emphasis on monitoring expenditure, preparing reports as required, and completing submissions for annual budgets and in-year forecasts. The postholder will also play a key role in facilitating training and knowledge exchange amongst relevant colleagues to ensure consistency.About youWe are keen to accept applications from candidates with a credible track record of the following features:
